VNCLC Going Global
In partnership with the Asia Society and with the support of the James Irvine Foundation, Vaughn Next Century Learning Center aims to educate key stakeholders about an internationally-focused educational model, develop and provide resources needed for the implementation of this effective educational model, and disseminate information about how public policies can be supportive of this model. This initiative will create an educational response to globalization emphasizing international knowledge and skills, world language acquisition, respect for other cultures, global interdependence and global engagement in problem solving.
This website aims to increase the demand for international studies by raising awareness, creating policy priority and increasing resources for education about the world. At the same time, it will provide school-based knowledge regarding implementation using Vaughn Next Century Learning Center as the pilot site.
